Oracle Manufacturing Implementation

Provided expert consultant to evaluate and implement Oracle Discrete Manufacturing for a division of an international Fortune 500 company.  ICS sub-contracted to a major consulting firm, providing across-the-board Oracle manufacturing knowledge.  Consultant worked extensively with customer team for requirements definition, user training, and implementation.

Result: Oracle Manufacturing selected, implementation in-process

 

Oracle Financials Implementation

ICS subcontracted to a major consulting firm to provide scoping, project management and three team leads for Financials, Inventory and Purchasing implementation, including custom interfaces.  Project started in mid-September, and customer had requirement to go-live by January 1.

Result:  System went live in about 3 ½ months; partner retained for subsequent phases

 

Oracle HCM Implementation

Provided expert team to implement Oracle Human Resources, Payroll and Advanced Benefits for a large drilling company.  The customer had previously obtained implementation bids from several other companies, which ran in the $2 million plus range.  ICS provided a team of three consultants, who worked in conjunction with the customer team, to implement the system.

Result:   System implemented on time, and for a fraction of the amounts bid by the other companies.

 

For this same company, we later provided a consultant to assist the benefits department with training of new employees, and conducting Open Enrollment.

We also provided a technical consultant to provide payroll production support while a customer employee was on long-term absence.

 

Performance Tuning Engagement

We were called by a Dallas company to discuss a possible upgrade to address system performance issues.  We determined that an upgrade would not address their issues, and may in fact have made the problems worse.  We recommended instead that we focus on determining the specific cause of the performance issues.

Result:  Performance issues solved within two weeks.  Customer avoided cost and downtime associated with an upgrade.

 

Oracle iStore Implementation

Customer had a requirement to implement iStore for several major wholesale customers.  Customer had some schedule flexibility, but tight budgets.  We provided two consultants – one primarily functional and one primarily technical.  Both consultants worked on a part-time, mostly remote basis over a 5-month period.

Result:  System went live ahead of schedule and below budget.
